Amanda S. Davison is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Amanda leads with honesty, integrity and purpose in her role as CEO of The Family Connection. She received the #1 Small Business of the Year award from the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST) in 2014 and 2019. Amanda’s leadership has helped to cultivate a positive culture in which employees take pride in living out their purpose and serving others. The Family Connection’s Rio Rancho office was recognized for the Best of 2020 Awards in Counseling by the Rio Rancho Awards.
Among her areas of expertise are Couples and Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and assisting people with a variety of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Autism Spectrum and Trauma. Sandra Rivera, LMFT

Sandra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Master’s in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family. Sandra is currently serving as a provider with a wide range of experience in the field as well as the Regional Director of the agency. Areas of expertise include Crisis Intervention with all age groups, Children, Couples, and Family Therapy. Her special areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, family, addiction, and legal issues.
Sandra is a Structural Family Therapist that joins a family to address the unhealthy patterns of interactions that create problems within families by changing the family structure, and improving communication, boundaries, and interaction among the family members. Sandra believes in empowering her clients to make change through connection, and advocacy! Sandra is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.
Alyson is a Clinical Support Specialist, working out of the Rio Rancho office. Alyson believes in advocating for clients and giving them the guidance they need in difficult and overwhelming times. She loves presenting clients with all options available to them, as this allows them to make well-informed decisions they can feel comfortable and confident with. She loves to be challenged with a difficult puzzle and is grateful when she can solve complex issues for clients.
Paula Raley, LCSW, LISW

Paula Raley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University. She has a background in working with families, family reunification, and early childhood interventions. Her special areas of interests include, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, relationship issues and addiction. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults from a family systems perspective.
As a family structural therapist she takes an active and engaged approach with her clients. She utilizes support, education, and the therapeutic relationship to work with her clients to experience the healing, change and growth they desire. She also believes her clients personal growth will positively impact systemic change within the individual’s family and other interpersonal relationships. Paula is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.
Abby Davison, Executive Assistant
Abby is a Clinical Support Specialist in the Rio Rancho office with a desire to pursue her Master’s Degree in Counseling/Social Work. Abby is very passionate in ensuring that every client receives the care and support they need in a timely manner. She is devoted to providing the best quality of service to our clients by being the first line of contact to answer client’s questions regarding appointments, paperwork, scheduling, and anything necessary to meet the needs of the client. Abby’s desire is to make a positive impact in her community by helping people access care that will help them achieve their goals.
Jennifer Bogart-Arana, LMHC

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family Studies from the University of New Mexico. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Jennifer also completed coursework in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University. Her focus has been on working with children and adolescents, clients who have experienced trauma, couples, and families. Jennifer provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults as well as counseling for couples. Jennifer is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.
Melanie Trujillo is the Los Lunas Clinical Support Specialist. She is one of the first points of contact for our Los Lunas clients. She is readily available to assist our clients with administrative needs, such as helping with new patient paperwork and setting up appointments. She is a kindhearted person who has a passion for assisting our patients while providing the most positive, caring experience possible. It is her goal to provide a welcoming environment for every patient at The Family Connection.
Anna Aldridge, Clinical Intern
Anna Aldridge is completing her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science from Ashford University. She is enthusiastic and passionate about helping others discover their strengths and overcoming various difficult life situations. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Renee Singletary, LMSW

Renee is a Master Social Worker, who earned her Bachelor’s Degree from New Mexico Highlands University Facundo Valdez School of Social Work and recently graduated with her Master’s Degree from New Mexico Highlands University Facundo Valdez School of Social Work on May 11, 2020. Renee’s social work program concentration is NMHU’s one-of-a-kind Bilingual/Bicultural Master’s Program equipping her to provide services in both English and Spanish. Renee’s clinical experience includes working with intimate partner violence, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and crisis intervention with children and adolescents. Renee’s passion is to provide culturally competent and linguistically relevant care to the community she serves and altering the stigma that surrounds mental health. Renee is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Theresa Day has earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health counseling from Walden University with a specialization in trauma and crisis and a Master’s in Psychology from University of Phoenix. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Family Studies from UNM. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Theresa has experience in working with families, adolescents, and adults in outpatient treatments. Her experiences and interests are with trauma, crisis, substance use, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
