Amanda S. Davison, LMFT

Amanda S. Davison is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Amanda leads with honesty, integrity and purpose in her role as CEO of The Family Connection. She received the #1 Small Business of the Year award from the Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST) in 2014 and 2019. Amanda’s leadership has helped to cultivate a positive culture in which employees take pride in living out their purpose and serving others. The Family Connection’s Rio Rancho office was recognized for the Best of 2020 Awards in Counseling by the Rio Rancho Awards.

Among her areas of expertise are Couples and Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and assisting people with a variety of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Autism Spectrum and Trauma. Amanda is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) Protocol. Amanda lives out her purpose by empowering and developing hope and potential in people by improving mental health services in our communities.

Amanda is an interactive, Experiential Family Therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges and to help them become who they were meant to be. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Melanie Trujillo

Executive Assistant

Melanie Trujillo is an Executive Assistant to the CEO of The Family Connection LLC. In this position Melanie works closely with the CEO on day-to-day operations. She has a vast knowledge of all administrative tasks, including scheduling, training, and correspondence. Having held positions in customer service and administration, Melanie is able to adapt her skills to meet the needs of her executive and the agency. Melanie has a passion for serving the community and enjoys assisting with community outreach events. It is her goal to leave a positive impact on the communities she lives and works in.

Paula Raley, LCSW, LISW

Chief Experience Officer

Paula Raley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University. She has a background in working with families, family reunification, and early childhood interventions. Her special areas of interests include, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, relationship issues and addiction. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults from a family systems perspective.
As a family structural therapist she takes an active and engaged approach with her clients. She utilizes support, education, and the therapeutic relationship to work with her clients to experience the healing, change and growth they desire. She also believes her clients personal growth will positively impact systemic change within the individual’s family and other interpersonal relationships. Paula is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Abby Davison

Executive Assistant

Abby supports human resource processes by conducting onboarding, recruiting, credentialing, and much more. Abby is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and plans to pursue her master’s degree in the counseling field. She desires to make a positive impact in her community by helping people access quality care that will help them achieve their goals. She is devoted to hiring quality applicants that align with the agencies values and provide the best care to our patients.
