Telehealth

Increasing Access to Support

What is Telehealth?

Online therapy, also known as telehealth, is a growing field in which therapists provide counseling to their clients using telecommunications and virtual technology. Telehealth sessions work much like the traditional in-person variety, but allows clients to meet with their therapist from the comfort of their own home. To utilize telehealth services clients will need a high-speed Internet connection, a computer or device in good working order with Internet access and video capability, and a safe private space in which they can remain free of interruptions or distractions for the duration of the session.

Healing

Telehealth sessions can easily fit into a full life, so that people can prioritize their well being. Telehealth can be advantageous to those individuals who live in rural areas, who maintain busy schedules, or who have physical limitations that prevent them from attending in-person sessions.

Skill Development

We help build coping skills that can be used in everyday life from the security of your own home.

Growth

Research and client feedback tell us that telehealth is as effective as in-person treatment and truly provides a great opportunity to achieve your goals.

Telehealth assessments

We know that your time is valuable. We offer the option of completing the initial assessment via telehealth which may assist you in more timely scheduling of your in-person therapy sessions. Telehealth may not be appropriate for everyone, so please contact our clinical support specialists or your assigned therapist to discuss if tele-health could be right for you.
